    HAS green academy has once again been named the best green university of applied sciences in the Netherlands. In the new Keuzegids hbo 2027, HAS green academy also retains its fifth place among all medium-sized universities of applied sciences. Our overall score has increased by three points. And there is more good news: no fewer than seven programmes have been awarded the Top-rated Programme quality seal this year.

  • Juan Felipe Camacho Mancheno Wins Fourth Edition of the Adri den Dekker Prize

    Juan Felipe Camacho Mancheno, a fourth-year International Food & Agribusiness student at HAS green academy, has been announced as this year’s proud winner of the Adri den Dekker Prize. This prestigious award, presented annually by HAK, challenges students to develop the best ideas to make agriculture more sustainable and future-proof. The prize also includes a €2000 scholarship.

  • Carolina Tavares wins HAK challenge 2024

    Carolina, a 4th-year student at the International Food & Agribusiness programme, is this year's proud winner of the Adri den Dekker Prize. With this incentive prize, HAK challenges students each year to come up with the best idea to make agriculture more sustainable and future-proof. The prize includes a study cheque of €2,000.

As a tribute to him, following his death in 2020, we have therefore created the Frans van Leijden Award. This year we are presenting this award for the 2nd time.
