The Keuzegids helps prospective students compare all bachelor’s and associate degree programmes at universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands. The guide looks at study success and students’ own assessments of their programmes. Students evaluate aspects including programme content, lecturers, assessment, career preparation and atmosphere. The Keuzegids also considers progression to the second year and the percentage of students who graduate within five years. Results are compared with the average for the relevant sector.
Students value career preparation and atmosphere
Three areas stand out at HAS green academy this year. Our students rate both career preparation and the atmosphere within their programmes above average. Progression to the second year is also above average.
We consider these results just as important as our position in the ranking. Good education is not only about what students learn, but also about the environment in which they learn and the connection with professional practice. The world of agro, food and the living environment is changing rapidly. That is why we want to give students the knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to develop into professionals who are ready to take on the challenges of today and tomorrow.
