HAS focuses on lifelong learning with a broad range of higher professional education (HBO) study programmes, company training and in-company training courses in the field of agriculture, food and the living environment. In this way, HAS supports the professionals of today and tomorrow in their development. Together with organisations, companies and authorities, HAS green academy explores and combines green knowledge and expertise and then applies them in practice.
The size and complexity of the social issues in the field of agriculture, food and the living environment call for new answers and new solutions. HAS actively seeks connections and opportunities to this end with a focus on making our environment healthier and ensuring food security.

As an explorer from, for and with the green sector, we offer a place to learn, explore, exchange ideas and come up with new perspectives and viewpoints. We offer scope for applied research and to do business in the regional, national and international domains. In this way, we are anticipating new forms of education to be developed such as associate degrees, professional doctorates, masters and micro-credentials."
